What it is

Embergrid is a cozy, fully offline grid-bomb arcade game. You play a young apprentice ember-crafter in a warm festival world set on the slope of a long-quiet volcano, learning the bomb-craft of four village schools — Marrow Hollow, Kindle Forge, Drift River, and Hollowmoon Ridge — and working your way toward the grand finale at The Last Crucible.

The whole game runs on your device, from cold start to grand finale. There is no wifi requirement, no account, and no sign-in. Every match runs on a fixed-tick, seeded simulation: the same seed and the same inputs always end the same way, so there is no rubber-band AI and no hidden difficulty inflation — the bots play by the same rules you do.

It is an original game. Its world, apprentices, music, and art are all our own.

A festival of things to play

  • Campaign — 35 hand-crafted levels across seven themed bands and four apprentice schools, building to a multi-phase boss finale.
  • Local Battle — 7 maps for a quick same-device round against bot rivals.
  • Boss Rush — a three-round boss trilogy for players who want the pressure.
  • Time Attack — fixed-seed time trials with a ghost replay to race your own record.
  • Daily Challenge — a fresh, local, daily-seeded run every day.
  • Ember Run — a roguelite with The Run, Today's Run, Endless, Custom, and Festival variants.

Plus meta-progression, a stats dashboard, and achievements to chase.

Built to respect you

  • Plays fully offline — no wifi, no account, no sign-in, no data collection.
  • No ads to play. The whole game is yours to enjoy without interruption.
  • No loot boxes and no gacha. Cosmetics in the Flair Shop are earned by playing — you see it, you play for it, you earn it.

Made to be more playable by everyone

  • A HUD & Text Size control — choose Standard, Large, or Extra-Large HUD text, up to 1.6×.
  • Colorblind-friendly cues for blast ownership.
  • A reduce-motion option for sensitive players.
  • Screen-reader labels on key screens and a motor-friendly tap alternative.
  • A published accessibility statement you can read up front.

We describe what is there honestly: these are real accessibility features, not a claim of complete coverage.
